enCOUNTER

The versatile enCOUNTER mix will be used to provide examples of pre casting and casting in place methods with cantilevers, backsplashes, baseboards, drainboards, integral sinks and top surface and vessel sinks using one time molds and reusable molds and of course enVISIONS, the reflective surface treatment. Coloring techniques: integral color, dyes, stains and stain proof sealers will also be shown.

Alpha Professional Tools

Alpha will feature the newly upgraded EcoGrinder for virtually dustless dry surface grinding eliminating vacuum clean-up. Another highlight will be the new 4-step concrete polishing wheels used with the VSP-120 variable speed polisher. Other demonstrations will include our high-quality diamond tools for concrete countertop fabrication and installation.

BlueConcrete.com welcomes Jon Schuler of Innovative Concrete Technologies to demonstrate his reactive based treatment for sealing concrete countertops. Jon will demonstrate the complete application procedure from preconditioning with Counter Hard to sealing steps with First Seal, including how to use twisters between steps, microfiber sponges and more.

Buddy Rhodes Artisan Concrete

Beto Esquivel and BR Artisans will demonstrate casting a countertop with integral sink, and vertical packing using our planter and furniture molds with the pressed technique. New this year, visitors will also see how to wet cast with Buddy’s Mix, a.k.a. pour and vibrate, as well as hard-trowel finishing.

CHENG Concrete

CHENG Concrete will showcase GFRC techniques and products for concrete countertops as well as efficient mold-making methods.
